Search Tool and Metadata
The Search Tool allows you to enter a key word to help you find map layers of interest faster. The results of the search will display all map layers in the master atlas associated with the key word. The search results also display links to the sub-atlases that contain the identified map layers.
Metadata is information about the data in the map layer such as who is the data custodian, when the information was gathered, etc. Metadata is available for many of the map layers and can be accessed through the search tool. Click on the 
button associated with the layer name in the Search Tool.
