Atlas Overview
The Kamloops-South Thompson Recreation and Tourism Atlas is in the initial phase of development. The intent of the atlas is to support decision making by individuals as well as support policy development by organizations and agencies.
This atlas will foster active living by residents and visitors and support the "Tournament Capital" theme of Kamloops. It will also be a marketing resource for the tourism industry. The City of Kamloops and the Tourism Department at Thompson Rivers University have expressed interest in partnering in this initiative.
