Proposed Map Layers
Funding has been secured to expand salmon and salmon habitat coverage within the current atlas area and extended coverage into the Shuswap, Mara and Adams Lake areas. Work on this initiative will proceed in the fall of 2007.
Additional map layers proposed include:
- Bird Sanctuary locations and "birding hotspots"
- Bluebird trails
- Habitat information associated with Blue and Red listed species and other critical habitats
- Areas of mountain pine beetle infestation on a year-to-year basis
