Development of map layers showing early childhood development assets are currently underway in partnership with Make Children First.
Economic development agencies, First Nation and local governments, and Interior Health may wish to see asset mapping associated with communications, transportation, health care, recreation and cultural facilities added to the Community Assets Atlas. From a technical perspective, community asset mapping is relatively easy and there is the potential for using an online update tool (see the example in the Master Atlas) to keep the information current.
