Partnership Members And Links

Think of our partnership as a “potluck supper”. Rather than share food and fellowship, we share information and foster dialogue with one another. Our partnership consists of local governments, First Nation governments, provincial and federal agencies, non-government organizations, businesses and the Thompson Rivers University community. We have been generously supported by many hours of volunteer efforts, “in kind” donations, as well as financial support from the Fraser Basin Council, the City of Kamloops, the Real Estate Foundation of BC, Terasen Pipelines and provincial agencies.

Within the partnership are member organizations which have map information that they wish to be considered in decision making processes by governments, industries and individuals. The partnership also includes governments, industries and organizations that wish to facilitate decision making which will contribute to community sustainability. As well as decision making, the partnership fosters the development and distribution of new information to address knowledge gaps based on scholarly research at the university as well as through partnerships with community organizations.
