Welcome to the new website for the Kamloops - South Thompson Sustainable Community Atlas
It was developed by the Kamloops South-Thompson Mapping and Capacity Partnership--a group of area organizations who have collaborated on the project. This new, enhanced version of the atlas builds on our experience of the past three years and takes advantage of new web software to deliver valuable and interesting information through simple, visual means. This new website and enhanced version of the atlas has been made possible through the financial support of the Fraser Basin Council and the City of Kamloops.
The atlas is intended for anyone interested in the area--from business owners and residents, to tourists and academics.
As well as the master atlas, you will find 9 sub-atlases on a variety of topics to help you find the information you need, quickly and easily. This project is always growing and evolving. We encourage you to check back often for updates and new map layers.
During the fall of 2007 this atlas website will be moved to a new server and software will be further upgraded, enhancing the response speed and performance of the atlas.
